Rotary Good Sort Competition Winner
Lake Taupō Rotary is proud every year to bring the BDO Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge to Taupo and celebrated by running the ‘Lake Taupo Rotary Good Sort’ competition for the first time. This Competition was such a great success it will be run again next year, so think hard and think ahead for local deserving candidates.
The Rotary Good Sort Competition was run to acknowledge someone local who has perhaps never been formally recognised for their generous, kind, and humble actions in our Community. Rotary Good Sorts are people who represent the Rotary values of Service, Diversity, Integrity, Leadership and Giving back to the Community.
Winner: Noel Bennett
Nominated by: Godfrey Ellis
Both people won prizes that were donated by Local Taupō Businesses.
Rotary also ran a “Free Lucky Draw” for Adults & Kids by visiting the Rotary Gazebo at the Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge Event and putting their name in the relevant draw.
